Windy Valley Landscaping was established by Jim & Cathy Habermehl in 1988 and has grown to serve both residential and comercial customers in the Methow, Chelan, and Okanogan Valleys. Jim "semi retired" in 2006. At this time, Eddy & Angie Layne formed a partnership with Cathy which has allowed us to continue to offer the finest landscaing experence in the North Central Washington area.

 

Eddy received a B.S. in biology from West Virginia University and a M.S. in environmental science from the University of Charleston. He has 29 years experence owning and opperating his own business. Customer satisfaction is his number one priority.

 

Cathy earned a B.S. degree in ornamental horticulture from Oregon State University. She has extensive experience and knowledge of plant varieties that will perform well in the North Central region of Washington. Cathy manages and preforms all design work, considering your needs and desires. Her attention to detail continues to amaze our clientel.

 

Jim received as M.S. in ecology and has over 30 years of experence in business management. We ask Jim for his assistence from time to time. We refer to this as calling out the big guns...you are in good hands with Jim on the job.

 

Our loyal staff has been with us for an average time of more than 9 years. They are knowlgeable, insightfull, and take great pride in their craft. When they arrive on site, they already know what needs to be done and do not waste any time getting started. Gustavo is the crew cheif and runs a tight ship.

 

We pride ourselves in the fact that we advertise very little. Most all our work is generated by "word of mouth", which has proven to be an efective way to generate business opertunities. We feel the high number of referals and repeat customers indicates the quality of the work that we do. We are totaly committed to a very high quality product.
